Terms

Terms of Service

Scope limitations, access requirements, water interruption, failed-device reporting, licensed-trade boundaries, municipal variation, payment, retention, and authorization boundaries.

Terms for backflow and cross-connection services.

The written quote or service agreement sets out the scope, scheduling, and payment terms for each engagement.

Scope limitations

SOLARNA provides testing, survey, documentation, coordination, report-package organization, and retesting where authorized. Scope is confirmed before booking and may vary by municipality, site, device type, and accepted function.

Access requirements

Clients are responsible for providing safe access, site contacts, mechanical-room entry, tenant notices, shutdown requirements, and any special site rules needed to perform work.

Water interruption

Backflow testing or related work may require water interruption. Clients should identify sensitive operations, tenant constraints, equipment limits, and preferred testing windows before booking.

Failed-device reporting

Failed devices are documented and communicated. SOLARNA follows the applicable reporting workflow, routes correction to licensed trades where required, and retests after correction where authorized.

Licensed-trade boundaries

Installation, internal repair, rebuild, replacement, relocation, pipe cutting, and regulated plumbing work are performed by licensed plumbers or licensed trades where required.

Municipal program variation

Backflow testing, survey, reporting forms, accepted functions, registration status, and timelines vary by municipality. Municipal registration or listing does not imply endorsement.

Quote validity and payment terms

Quotes should identify scope, assumptions, access requirements, exclusions, validity period, and payment terms before work proceeds.

Report retention

SOLARNA may retain service records for continuity, reporting support, renewal reminders, accounting, and legal purposes.

No guarantee of compliance

SOLARNA helps keep obligations current but does not guarantee compliance, municipal acceptance, or elimination of all potable-water risk.

Engineering authorization boundary

Engineering opinions, sealed reports, design recommendations, protection adequacy reviews, and professional correction plans are provided only after the required professional authorization and insurance are active.
